I do love a Sunday well spent. I took my own advice from the previous post today and balanced out what needed to get done (washing every clothing item I own and making a meal plan) with what I wanted to get done (make stuff). So I wanted to share.
At the top of the post, you can see a lovely car made by my daughter. She won the kit last year from the summer reading program but was way to young for it. But now, it’s perfect. You can’t tell to look at it, but she concentrated really hard on painting really well and carefully decided where all the stickers needed to go. Oh, and I don’t have a picture of this, but yesterday I made mango ice cream. It turned out well, but I think the kiddo will be eating most of it because I don’t like mangoes all that much.
During nap time, I finished my mural and got it hung. These concrete walls still need a lot more color, but this is a start.
And I did more shrinky dinks! These are destined for a necklace…I think.
Overall, not a bad day!
