Up Late: Trying to calm down

Yummy soft focus body lotion bars.
My skin has been acting wonky lately and has been needing really deep moisturizer. So I melted down cocoa butter, beeswax and apricot oil to make awesome heart-shaped lotion bars.
Setting up the last tomato harvest to ripen in the kitchen.
Have to have energy for the night! Here is my go-to smoothie. And since I always try to encourage you to eat well and be creative, you should try it too. Scroll down for the recipe.
And naturally, some sketching. I already collaged on this page, so today I just added some pen, marker, pencil and paint.

It was a crazy day! At least I finally made it home to get a few things done. One of those things included the above mentioned smoothie. If you want something new to try for breakfast or snack, give this one a whirl. It’s really easy.

Chocolate Smoothie

  • 1 c ice (smaller cubes work better)
  • 1 T cocoa powder (Dutched gives a richer flavor, but any will work)
  • 1-2T peanut butter (I use chunky because I like the texture)
  • 1/4 c rolled oats
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 c milk

Just whirl together and drink. Awesome! Hope you’re all having a great week!
