I hate when my back acts up, but there is a silver lining…mandatory time sitting down. And that is the perfect time to draw. So I gathered up all my current sketchbooks and got to work.

A quick landscape inspired by a documentary on Southwestern China I was watching. I so want to go to Asia one day. The landscapes are breathtaking. This sketch is pencil, markers, water soluble oil pastels and glitter tissue paper.

This is the start of another page in my baby’s book. When my daughter was an infant, I had a notebook I wrote in nearly every day for the first year of her life. With two kids, I am sure I will have less time for that, so this time I am chronicling the pregnancy.

As part of my stress-busting homework, I am supposed to write down three to five things every day that make me happy. They can be small, silly, whatever, as long as they are things that make me happy. So I cracked out a sketchbook Carly sent me years ago and got started.
Sitting around while being productive. Love it!
