I am sure many of you are stuck in the same place I am — working at an office. Along with getting perks of an office (vacation time) comes some irritation (having to use up said time before it expires). At my office with deadlines and overtime, that often becomes very, very hard. But this year, it worked in my favor. Yesterday I got to come into work five and a half hours late. Awesome!
So what did I do? I got up at the same time as any other day and took the kiddo to daycare. Then I came right back and sewed my little butt off for four solid hours. And now I have something to show for it! I am finally totally done with the swap package I have spent the last month working on. And it feels great because my partner was so awesome, and I think I made her some stuff she will really like. I hope anyway.
Add to that a few other fun bits: my Finding Your Muse exercise for the week is going well and I was chosen to be a guest writer for Makewells. Double excitement! I am hoping my good mood carries through this week. My husband’s grandpa passed away, so we have a funeral to go to. My hope is these happy feelings will help out when we really need them to most.
