Messy indeed

You have to start somewhere.

I actually managed to stay awake while crafting. Yay! It probably helped that I wasn’t sitting in a recliner. So the good news is I’ve got started on a painting that has been stuck in my head for the past two weeks. Enjoy the first step is this piece.

A base sketch covered in dark grey.
A subtle, two-tone green wash.
A touch more paint in cyan and purple.
Nothing is as fun as spraying a wet canvas with more water.

  2. I love the drippy-ness. I like to just let paint flow where is will too. Although, I have trouble working on an easel. I am better just spread out on the floor (super professional, I know, right?)
